Happy Halloween.

What a cute little pumpkin. This costume has been worn by all three of my kids now on their first halloween. It just gets cuter and cuter.

Me and my girls. Lanie had to be a cowgirl and Roo had to be a cheerleader. Lukily we had most of the attire. Thanks to Goodwill and Tractor supply for the rest.

Ok Lanie, Where are you aiming that gun??? We aren't much for all the trick-or-treating stuff and neither are the girls so it made for a quick night of driving around a few places and eventually landing at mi-mi's house. As long as we get to go to mims nothing else matters. Works great for me and Jon!!! Less Candy to be tempted with more fun for the girls.

Hadlie loved the big pumpkin!

This is Lanie with her best friend from school Hannah. They are so cute!

Life is so busy right now. We just finished soccer and are starting basketball. Soccer was certainly and experience. Karlie enjoyed herself so much but Lanie, on the other hand, did not care for all the running. It was a joy to watch them however the competitive side always comes out in me and I have to remind myself that they are 3 and 5 and I am not!!!! We were so proud of them. I'm telling you life with 3 kids can be a challenge when you are involved in everything. Hadlie, for the most part, is a trooper, but when it is 7:30 she doesnt care what is going on she wants to eat and go to bed. It is unbelievable how much DRAMA can come out of 3 little girls.
Hopefully soon I can upload some soccer pics and some other pics and sort of "catch up" a little. They are growing so fast and if blink you feel like you have missed something. I wish I had time to type all the things that makes my kids so special but I'm afraid my fingers would fall off. They are my life. I treasure every moment I have with them, even the bad ones. God has been good to me and Jon and we are so greatful he chose us the be the parents of these precious angels.

BBD

When you see or hear "BBD" come from anyone in the campbell family, it means "Big Buck Down". This is my neice Kaley on her first juvenile hunt. On sat. she killed a 6pt and Sunday morn. she killed this big 8 pt. She just turned 7!! With her are Lanie and Karlie in their sunday attire posing with the deer in the back of a truck with blood all in it! Come on girls.
Lanie and Karlie both are dying to go hunting with their daddy. ( so would I) Jon decided that they can "officially" hunt when they are 6 but until then they will have to settle for target practice with the bb gun, learn some safety rules, and a little patience before taking to the woods.

This is one of the reasons Lanie wants to go back hunting. She went on her first hunt with Jon last year and this was the result. This one made it to the wall upstairs (I told Jon NO deer in my living room). His argument: "It was Lanies first deer hunt"......it's on the wall!!!

This is Kaley telling her story....

Call me CRAZY!!! I took 6 little girls to the pumpkin patch on saturday. 3 are mine and the other 3 are my nieces. You better believe I laid the law down before we entered!! Ha Ha, I really look scary. Actually everyone came home all in one piece, no injuries or mishaps and everyone had a great time. I had never heard of this place until this year. It was a neat little place that had a pumpkins to pick out, a hay ride (which was really safe) farm animals to visit and a little train ride in which the engine was a lawn mower. And it was FREE, that is always a plus with 6 kids.
Hadlie had a good time. She was up nearly all night with a runny nose and I debated taking her, however by lunch it warmed up and I thought she would be ok. She loved looking around at everything, of course with mommy holding her. Forget the stroller, she was having no part of that. It was used to hall all the jackets, diaper bag, drinks and whatever else would fit. Overall we had a great trip. Thank goodness for dvd players in the vehicle!!! They are life savers.
NOTE: Karlie again with the head tilt.

My 3 Girls!!! Every year I try to take a fall picture of the girls on the front porch. This year was no different except, I picked a day that was fairly cold and we added one more little girl to the tradition. We ran outside took a few quick pics and ran in. I thought they all turned out good. You will have to note that in every picture you will see of Karlie she has the head tilt. I don't know where she learned that from. When, on rare occasions I let her take pictures, she says "mom do your head like this" and makes me tilt it like her. I can't believe I got them all looking at me and smiling. Happy Fall

One of these days I will GET IT TOGETHER!!!! I have been wanting to do this blog thing for a long time and cant get on the computer long enough to figure it out or when I do get on it it cuts me off for whatever reason it choses. I am soooooo behind on my scrapbook so I guess I thought maybe this would be a way for me to sortof computer scrapbook!! I love reading other peoples blog and hope to get good at this so others will like to read mine. Goodness knows I have many stories to tell with 3 little girls and all. For example monday my middle daughter got in trouble for lying. She proceded to tell me that the devil tries to ger her to do bad things and she has all these christians in her belly and they are going to kill that devil. Where did that come from??? Soo funny.

I guess I should start with introducing my family. My husband is Jon Campbell. He is the greatest husband in the world and just a wonderful man. God blessed me more than I deserve when he gave him to me. We have 3 daughters: Lanie 5, Karlie 3 (almost 4), and Hadlie who is 9 months. They are such a joy to us. Poor Jon soo many hormones in this house. I'm convinced that God knows best because we tried for nearly three years to have a baby and now we have been blessed with three healthy little girls. We live in Ethridge, tn in a house we built almost 3 years ago. We live out in the country and absolutly love it. We have a big open sky to enjoy on most nights, dogs that bark all the time, Horse and buggies that like to drop gifts in front of our driveway, and a pathway behind and beside our house to enjoy watching deer. Life is Good!

Kindergarten

This is Lanie and Karlie on the morning of kindergarten. Lanie was so excited about starting school that she got up about 5:30a.m. and was ready in no time. All morning I heard "is it time to go yet?" I was not ready for this day at all. She kept saying "mom I'll be fine". I guess I want to shelter her forever from all the bad things in the world. There will be so many emotions arise this year from her and I just want all her experiences to be good ones but I know they wont. I pray she makes friends and enjoys her year.
